Here for sale we have a Squier Contemporary Stratocaster Special HT in Pearl White finish. Made in China in 2021, this guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of a Poplar body, a Roasted Maple neck and 22 Jumbo fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a 6-Saddle String-Through-Body Hardtail With Block Saddles and a set of sealed tuning machines. The pickups in this guitar are a trio of Squier SQR Alnico Single-Coils configured in a HS format, these are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume and a master tone.

The Roasted Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, the "C" profile is slender, filling the hand nicely for a smooth and articulate playing experience up and down the neck along with the Satin Urethane finish. Primed for high performance, energetic riffing and blazing leads, the 12" radius Laurel fingerboard has 22 Jumbo frets assisting with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a tailored playing experience in any position, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The Hardtail bridge keeps things simple offering the player great tuning stability for any kind of progressive style of playing thrown at it.

The Squier SQR Alnico Single-Coils pickups deliver rich harmonics, cutting highs and snarling mids in spades. The bridge pickups provide a fat and punchy humbucker-like sound, making power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones with broad tonal dynamics. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone making harmonics sing with a bell like tonality. The middle position provides bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup offers a smooth, warm, rounded tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The very tip demonstrates light scuff marks that could not be removed during our cleaning process. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching and indentation that cannot be felt by the hand in playing position. Most notably an indentation near the 7th fret side dot. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentations, only visible under direct light at certain angles. A small area of discolouration is apparent to the rear face which could not be removed during our cleaning process. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge. The pick guard displays mild scratching which can be seen under direct light. A previous owner has installed a set of Fender strap locks.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
