The guitar was mainly used between 2010 and 2013. After that, it was played very little and has spent most of the following years safely stored in its original hard case. It was never used for touring or regular gigging and has essentially been a home-use guitar. - It has been kept indoors in a controlled environment, with air conditioning for most of its life, and was stored upright in its case during long-term storage.
- Considering its age and relatively limited use, the guitar is in excellent overall condition, although there are some signs of use and aging that I have documented in the photos.
- The gold-plated hardware shows some wear from playing over the years, with areas where the gold finish has worn away. There is also some oxidation visible on the screws. I have not attempted to clean, polish, or refinish any of these parts, so the photos show their current condition.
- There are a few small dings on the guitar. None are particularly large, and I have photographed all of the dings I am aware of so that the cosmetic condition can be assessed accurately.
- The rear plastic backplate has some cracking around the screw holes, and one of the screws is missing. I have left the original backplate in place and documented its condition in the photos.
- The electronics are fully functional and everything works as it should.
- The guitar was professionally set up by a luthier, including the neck and tremolo setup. I was also able to communicate directly with Herman Li through his YouTube channel and Twitch, and he provided me with the setup specifications he uses for his own EGEN18 when having it professionally set up. The guitar was subsequently set up according to those specifications.
- I am also including a brand-new Floyd Rose tremolo that I purchased separately several years ago. It has never been used and comes with its corresponding tremolo arm. I originally purchased it because I was considering replacing the original hardware, but never ended up installing it. It is included with the guitar at no additional cost.
- The reason the guitar saw relatively little use after 2013 is mainly that I frequently changed tunings, and doing so with a floating tremolo system requires considerably more adjustment than with a fixed bridge. As a result, I gradually used it less and eventually kept it stored in its case most of the time.
- I have tried to be as transparent as possible about the condition of the guitar. Please look carefully at all of the photos, as they show the cosmetic condition, hardware wear, oxidation on the screws, dings, and backplate damage in detail.
