Another quality Guitar from Lovies Guitars!
Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 1967 Martin D-35 Brazilian Rosewood Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar finished in Natural. The Martin D-35 has long been regarded as one of the finest dreadnoughts ever produced, prized for its powerful voice, rich overtones, and unmistakable vintage Martin character. Built during the golden era of Martin production, this 1967 example features highly sought-after Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, making it an exceptional instrument for both collectors and serious players.
Featuring a solid Spruce top paired with beautifully aged Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, this D-35 delivers the deep bass response, shimmering highs, and complex harmonic richness that have made vintage Brazilian Rosewood Martins legendary. Decades of natural aging have opened up the wood beautifully, producing an incredibly responsive and resonant voice that simply cannot be replicated in a modern instrument.
This guitar has benefited from a healthy neck angle that provides excellent playability and plenty of saddle remaining for future adjustments. It appears to have received a replacement pickguard at some point in its life. Structurally, it is in excellent shape with no cracks in the wood, an increasingly rare find for a vintage Martin of this era. There are two finish cracks on the back, which are cosmetic only and do not affect the guitar's structural integrity or performance.
This guitar comes complete with an Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 8.8/10 - Very Good. Shows honest play wear throughout with no structural cracks. There are two finish cracks on the back, a replacement pickguard appears to have been installed, and the guitar retains an excellent neck angle. A wonderful vintage player's example with outstanding tone and excellent structural health.
