DeArmond revived a series of vintage Guild designs in the 90s. They were made to a high standard in Korea, and are fitted with DeArmond's very cool own single coil pickups, which are known for a clear, slightly gritty tone with a bit more edge than traditional vintage designs. This is the reissue of the Guild Starfire III - the single cutaway model. The body is lightweight and semi-hollow, giving it a resonant, open character that works well for clean and lightly driven sounds. It's very easy to play, and perfect for your indie, rock 'n roll or modern soul sounds. These DeArmond / Guild reissues are becoming highly sought after, and it's easy to see why.
