2013 Gibson Les Paul Collector's Choice #16 Ed King "Redeye" Aged - limited to 300 pieces. This is a replica of the late Ed King's 1959 Les Paul Standard nicknamed "Redeye" because of the unfaded red spot on the top. Now it's owned by Jason Isbell. It's a beautiful Les Paul, already sought after by collectors and players known for it's great tone and feel! This one has a nice but mild flame top and is just an outstanding good guitar with fat bloom and sustain forever - really an exceptionally sounding guitar!

A BurstBucker 3 made with an Alnico magnet — a relatively hot PAF - is the perfect match for the neck pickup in Ed’s guitar, while a Custom Bucker with Alnico III magnet has been wound to match the bridge pickup. It's got a weight of 3780g/8.33lbs and sounds absolutely wonderful! The pickups have been out but are back in. It's been played a bit at home so there some wear on the bridge pickup mounting ring - we just mention it since many CCs never get played. Comes including original case, COA and case candy.
