Moog Moogerfooger MF-105M MIDI MuRF - eight-band analog resonant filter bank with 24 animation patterns, made in the USA, line discontinued in 2018.

Tested 30 August 2026, and the MIDI was checked end to end: clock sync works (the RATE control becomes a MIDI clock divider), the eight filters can be played directly from MIDI notes, and the unit responds to MIDI CC.

That means it automates fully from a DAW. Per Moog's manual there are CCs for envelope, drive, LFO, output, mix and rate, for all eight filter levels (CC 20-27), and even for the BASS/MIDS bank (CC 86) and bypass (CC 87); the 24 patterns select over Program Change and the transport follows MIDI Clock. The plain MF-105 cannot do any of this - it is the version without MIDI. The switchable BASS/MIDS frequency banks are the MIDI-version feature; the plain MF-105 and the bass MF-105B have a single fixed set.

Controls: Drive, Mix, Output, Envelope, Pattern, Rate, plus LFO OFF/ON and FREQ BASS/MIDS. CV inputs for Rate, Mix, Envelope and LFO/Sweep, a Tap/Step input, MIDI In, and stereo audio outs.

Condition: excellent, studio use only. All eight slider caps, all knobs, both switches and all three LEDs present and working. Faceplate unscratched, wooden cheeks undamaged, all four original rubber feet present. Serial 1751, Made in USA.

ONE DISCLOSED FLAW, PHOTOGRAPHED: the footswitch mounting nut and washer show corrosion - see the last photo. The switch itself works normally. Nothing else was found on the unit.

What ships: the unit only - no power supply, no box, no manual.

IMPORTANT, POWER SUPPLY: this unit needs 9 V DC, centre-positive (tip positive), min. 300 mA, max. 15 V - the figure is printed on its own base plate and is legible in the photos. That is the REVERSE of the usual Boss standard: an ordinary pedalboard supply will NOT work and can damage the unit. Suitable supplies cost about 14 EUR. The polarity diagram is also legible on the rear panel. Note that the original power supply bundled with US units is 110 V and unusable in Europe without a transformer.
