Offered for sale is a rare Melodium B42, one of the finest French ribbon microphones of the post-war era. Highly regarded by recording engineers and collectors alike, the B42 is celebrated for its natural sound, rich midrange and beautifully smooth top end, making it one of Europe's most desirable vintage ribbon microphones.

This particular microphone was professionally serviced by Stewart Tavener of Xaudia / Xtinct Audio (UK), internationally recognised as one of the leading specialists in vintage ribbon microphones.
