With its semi-transparent Off White Blonde finish (reminiscent of Butterscotch Blonde) and bolt-on maple neck with one-piece maple fingerboard, it not only looks incredible but also immediately evokes the classic Telecaster design from the early 1950s. Contemporary details include the solid ash body and the one-piece black pickguard.Powerful tone is delivered by a professionally upgraded Seymour Duncan STK-1B Classic Strat Stack humbucker in single-coil format at the bridge and a Dragster C humbucker at the neck, controlled via a three-way switch and volume and tone controls. This makes the guitar extremely versatile, covering everything from clear, dynamic tones to classic ’50s Tele sounds (thanks to the hum-free Seymour Duncan Stack) all the way to dirty, distorted humbucker rock sounds. The solid ash body with a thin high-gloss finish allows for great natural resonance, and the slim “C”-shaped maple neck ensures smooth, effortless playability on the maple fingerboard equipped with 21 vintage frets. The six-piece Tele bridge with string routing through the body ensures clean intonation, and high-quality Gotoh tuners provide the instrument with excellent tuning stability. The craftsmanship is of the highest Japanese hand-built standard, and anyone who has held this guitar will notice this from the very first note!Technical Specifications:Origin: FujiGen; Matsumoto, Nagano, JapanYear of manufacture: 2016Body: Solid ashNeck: Maple with walnut skunk stripe, bolt-onNeck profile: Slim CFingerboard: One-piece maple fingerboard with black dot inlaysFingerboard radius: 7.25"Frets: 21 vintage-styleNut: 42mm, synthetic bonePickups: 1x Seymour Duncan STK-1B Classic Strat Stack Humbucker (upgrade, bridge), 1x Fender MIJ Dragster C Humbucker pickup (neck)Electronics: 3-way switch, 1x volume & 1x tone controlTuners: Gotoh Cast/Sealed TunersBridge: 6-piece string-through-body Tele bridge with steel block saddlesHardware: ChromePickguard: Black, single-plyFinish: Off-White Blonde, high-glossScale length: 648mmWeight: 3.87kgJD16014070Includes black hardshell caseThis Tele model, built in a limited run exclusively for the Japanese market, is extremely rare. This Fender Classic ‘50s Telecaster Special is in excellent condition and technically flawless.
