Here for sale we have a Fender Player Precision bass in Buttercream finish. Made in Mexico in 2021, this guitar features an Alder body, bolt-on Maple neck and 20 fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include 4-Saddle Standard bridge and Standard Open-Gear tuning machines. A Player Series Alnico 5 Split Single-Coil is fitted and wired to master volume and tone controls.

The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip, whilst remaining slim enough for articulate playing. The Maple fingerboard with its 9.5" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and durable playing surface. The medium jumbo frets enhance the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid sensation under the fingers. 

The Fender Player Series Alnico 5 Split Single-Coil pickup installed in this guitar delivers great fundamental bass tone as soon as you plug the instrument in. The low end is thick and full-bodied, ensuring that your bass playing fills out the mix nicely. The mids are punchy and clear, whilst the sparkly top end captures all the spank and attack of your playing, keeping you in the front of the mix. The simple controls offer comprehensive control of your tone without over-complicating things. Still the perfect workhorse bass.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.

Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The treble side edge at the 5th fret demonstrates a small raised area of finish. This cannot be felt beneath the string.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentations that have not pierced the finish, only visible under direct light at certain angles.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Very light denting is present to the early register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Stiff to operate yet fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and tuners.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm
