Here for sale we have an Ernie Ball Musicman Stringray5 H electric bass guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2013, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Standard Musicman bridge & open-geared Musicman tuning machines. A single Musicman humbucking pickup is wired to an on-board active preamp with controls for master volume & 3-band EQ. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape which sits comfortably in the hand and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The satin finish to the rear assists with slick navigation of the 34" scale, and along with the generous cutaways ensures that access to the upper frets is a breeze. The 11" fingerboard radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques, and along with the high-profile wide frets delivers a playing experience which is both comfortable and practical across the register. 

The amplified tone of the StingRay5 H is unmistakable as a Music Man. Since their introduction in 1976, StingRay basses have been sought after by players for their distinctive tonal character. There is a deep and rich low end growl, with punchy mids and a snappy treble response which blends perfectly into a wide range of musical settings; filling out the low end of the mix and capturing all the attack and sparkle of your playing. The on-board active preamp offers comprehensive control of your sound, with 3-band EQ and master volume controls which allow you to dial in your perfect tone right on the instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light indentations are present to the top edge. These have lightly pieced the finish. All other aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. A light indentation is present to the rear of the neck, this can be lightly felt in the playing position at the 9th fret bass side.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light signs of past use.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Mild fine scratching is present to the pick guard, these can be seen under direct light and is consistent with past use in a high contact area.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm
