Here for sale we have an Epiphone B.B King Lucille Semi Hollow electric guitar in Bone White finish. Crafted in China in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a 5-ply Layered Maple body with no F-holes and Maple centre block, Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Ebony fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Gold hardware including Epiphone LockTone with Tune-O-Matic bridge, TP-6 Stopbar with fine tuning tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic with keystone button tuning machines. The pickups fitted are a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, bridge tone, neck volume, neck tone, 6-position Varitone switch and a Mono/Stereo Input.

The Gloss finish neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets offer a perfect balance between easy chord playing, practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar a nice open and resonant feel, while the lack of F-Holes keeps unwanted feedback at bay.

The semi-hollow body delivers unique acoustic features. It achieves a delicate balance between body resonance and resistance to feedback, this results in an organic vocal quality that is tactile and responsive to the player's touch. The pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbucking pickups sound thick and chunky with rich lows, tight, punchy mids and crisp, clear highs. The round and thick tone of the neck position is well complemented by the hotter, brighter bridge pickup which provides all of the bite needed for hard rock lead lines. The 6-way Varitone switch acts as a notch filter to suppress certain frequencies, and offers 6 unique voices which are almost infinitely variable thanks to the standard controls. A guitar truly fit for a king.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. There are some very small markings on the bass side edge of the neck beside the 5th fret.

Body: Overall excellent condition.  All faces of the body demonstrate light scartching under close scrutiny, as is common with high gloss finishes. There is a slightly more prominent scratch on the front face of the guitar on the lower edge.

Condition of Frets:

The frets display minimal fret wear with a light flattening to the crown, not affecting playability. There is material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (4mm Hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition. No pickguard is included with the guitar.

Structural: No structural concerns to note.
