The SG Standard has been a long-time favorite thanks to its thin, lightweight mahogany body and powerful humbucker sound.
Made in 2003.
This classic SG model combines the thick, resilient sound inherited from the Les Paul with a lightweight design and excellent playability. Its appeal lies in the rich midrange produced by the mahogany body and neck, along with the powerful output unique to the 490R and 498T pickups. It produces a warm sound when played clean and a robust, rock-driven tone when driven.
Based on the serial number g01053310,h we have determined this guitar was manufactured in 2003. The pickups feature braided shielded wire, and the gGibson USAh stamp is visible on the back. These are believed to be the original pickups.
Since the truss rod cover was missing, a plain cover has been installed.
The front volume pot was replaced with a CTS pot due to a malfunction.
There is paint reaction on the lower part of the body back. There is a chip on the top of the headstock. The fingerboard binding is chipped on the 1st string side.
In addition, there are scratches, dents, dirt, and rust stains throughout the instrument, indicating signs of use.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
