The JD-800 is a digital synthesizer that recreates and further develops Roland's accumulated analog synthesizer know-how with the digital technology of the time.
Released in 1991, the JD-800 was a digital synthesizer with a vast array of controls on the top panel, enabling analog-like sound creation.

Even now, nearly 30 years later, its unique sound is loved all over the world, and the "Ac. Piano 1" preset 53, used by Tetsuya Komuro, is very famous.
Now it is reissued on ZENOLOGY as JD-800 Model Expansion. This is of course the original model.
