Here for sale we have a Fender Player II Mustang Electric Guitar in Aquatone Blue finish. Made in Mexico in 2024, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Slab Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Strings-Through-Body Strat Hardtail  bridge with Bent Steel Saddles, Fender ClassicGear tuners, and a set of Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Mustang Pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Maple neck plays well, with the 'Modern C' profile feeling fast and articulate, whilst the Satin Urethane finish to the rear ensures effortless transitions into any position. Fender have brought rolled fingerboard edges to their Player II series and it makes a world of difference, feeling comfortable and seamless all the way up the neck. The Slab Rosewood fingerboard is also a welcome addition to the Player series and provides a robust and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality.

The pair of Player Series Alnico 5 Mustang Single-Coils installed deliver classic Fender tones in a simple and user-friendly package. The neck pickup is round and smooth, great for shimmering clean sounds and thick lead tones. The bridge pickup is brighter, allowing your rock and grunge rhythm lines to easily cut through the mix. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive to the playing experience, with responsive volume and tone controls that help you sculpt your sound. Fender's student guitar has really grown up.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall very good condition. A moderate indentation is present to the front face lower bout bass side edge, this has chipped and cracked the finish light exposing the wood beneath. All other aspects of the body display light signs of past use.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
