About the system:

The DSF-2 is the industry-standard single-point ambisonic microphone system for large-scale live broadcast — sports stadiums, concert halls, and OB work. It outputs stereo, M/S, and 4-channel B-Format, fully phase-coherent, with remote control of orientation, angle, polar pattern, and mic rotation from the controller — no need to touch the mic after installation. Built-in limiter and capsule heating element for outdoor use. The DSF-3 decodes B-Format into any current surround format in real time.

Discontinued and increasingly hard to find, these systems sold new for US$12,800 each (DSF-2) and ~US$4,400 (DSF-3). Ideal for broadcasters, immersive audio / Dolby Atmos / VR production, and ambisonic recording.
