A 2008 Gibson USA Les Paul Traditional Plus?from its first year of production?has arrived!
In that same year, the gLes Paul Standardh underwent a major redesign with modern specifications, and the gLes Paul Traditionalh was introduced as the model retaining the classic Les Paul design.
It features a mahogany back with traditional weight relief (9 weight-relief holes), AA-grade figured maple top, and a 50s-style round-profile mahogany neck that offers just the right amount of grip.
Itfs equipped with a gf57 Classich and a gf57 Classic Plush pickup, respectively. It delivers a very rich midrange, producing the characteristic Les Paul sound?a substantial, full-bodied tone with a lustrous, sweet character.
You can enjoy the Gibson sound with its juicy, sticky quality and smooth, lingering sustain.
Overall, there are scattered minor scratches, dents, and playwear, as well as a slight crack on the back of the body, but these are not very noticeable. Additionally, there is some discoloration on the binding and hardware, a crack in the control knob, and some residual finish near the end of the fingerboard.
The neck is in excellent condition, and there is plenty of fret life remaining.
It shows minimal signs of use, and the grain on the top is exceptionally beautiful!
