B-Stock: minimal traces of use, original packingIn the late 50s and early 60s, Fender musical instruments enjoyed steadily growing popularity. Although there were already several Fender models in the range at the time, the Stratocaster® was - and still is - the queen. As early as 1958 it was given a new 3-colour sunburst with a more vivid red and wider black edges to emphasise the famous Strat curves, in 1959 the one-piece maple neck was replaced by a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and in 1961 there was a more stable, three-ply pickguard.
