Dæmoness Cimmerian 7 String 2012

Up for sale is this exotic Dæmoness Cimmerian from 2012. It pains me to let go of this one but I don’t play metal anymore and this guitar has seen no use over the last 5 years. I feel that it deserves to be with someone that will cherish playing it and look after it well.

It features a 1-piece master grade curly bubinga body which has been chambered for tone as well as to make the guitar lighter. The neck is my favourite I have ever played and is made from gorgeous honduras rosewood with thick curly ebony fillets (inspiration is blackmachine, yes), topped with a jet black ebony fingerboard and a beautiful snakewood binding on neck and headstock.

This guitar is so much fun to play and sounds absolutely incredible both clean and distorted with the distorted tones in particular having that characteristic Dæmoness pissed-off aggressive character. 

It is from 2012 but is in excellent condition, largely owing to the fact that all the woods on this guitar are hard as steel and you’re more likely do dent anything you hit with the guitar rather than the guitar itself.

Prior to being put up for sale the whole guitar has been cleaned up and re-oiled. Only the frets still show light oxidation and slight wear as I only went over them quite lightly but this can easily be buffed out by yourself or a professional if you don’t have experience. 

These are the specs:

25.5" 7-string Cimmerian with contemporary carve. Oil finish on the entire guitar.

Body:

- 1 piece master grade curly bubinga, chambered.

- Arm bevel and subtle belly carve that wraps around the upper horn.

- Oil finish on top and body.

Neck and fingerboard:

- Set-neck, 5pc honduras rosewood with curly ebony fillets and carved heel.

- Modified Dæmoness "Flatbacker" neck profile.

- Malagasy ebony fingerboard with offset block inlays.

- Neck and headstock are bound in snakewood.

- Reversed Dæmoness standard headstock, scarf jointed, with figured bubinga face.

- Dæmoness logo is inlaid in aluminum and iron.

- Double acting truss rod.

- 24 jumbo frets.

- Earvana nut.

Hardware and electronics:

- Hipshot bridge and locking tuners.

- Bare Knuckle Black Dog bridge and The Mule neck.

- Ibanez JPM-style control layout with 3-way toggle. 

- Volume knob os push/pull for coil splitting and the tone control is push/pull for series/parallel.

- Recessed Dunlop straplocks.

The guitar ships in a Hiscox hard case.
