The RG13 is one of Randall’s more unique designs — an all-analog, solid-state preamp pedal built around the brand’s signature high-gain voicing. It delivers that tight, aggressive response Randall is known for, most famously associated with the legendary Dimebag Darrell — This one takes you one step closer to his sound.

What sets this unit apart is the integrated power amp, making it much more than a typical distortion unit. It is a full-blown amp in a pedal board-friendly format, and it can drive your 8-ohm cabinet with it's 1-watt power amp section. It also has an FX loop for full flexibility and seamless integration to your gig. On top of these, with the speaker emulated XLR output you can also connect it directly to your mixing desk or audio interface for great sounding recordings. It features a 4 channel shared EQ and a switchable boost function for an insane amount of gain. It has bass boost and mid scoop switches for instant ±12 dB boost and cuts and a bright switch for the clean channel. It even has a 9V DC output to power your pedals and a stereo aux-in to allow you play along other tracks, it is a great pedal board foundation.

• Channel 1 (Clean): Crystal clear with high headroom, accepts other pedals very well
• Channel 2 (Overdrive/Crunch): smooth, musical gain structure—great for rock and classic metal tones
• Channel 3 (High Gain): tight, fast low end with plenty of saturation—classic solid-state chug machine with excellent note definition, this is where you lose yourself playing the heaviest riffs ever

The low end stays controlled and punchy, making it ideal for palm-muted riffing, while still retaining clarity under gain.
