• Assign switches on the front panel enable routing of digital audio signals between the DA-88-38-78HR tracks and external AES or S/PDIF inputs/outputs.
• An Emphasis indicator illuminates during playback when high-frequency emphasis was applied during recording, providing quick visual feedback.

Connectivity

• AES/EBU I/O: 4 × XLR inputs, 4 × XLR outputs—supporting up to 8 channels over AES format.

• S/PDIF I/O: 1 × RCA input, 1 × RCA output—for 2-channel consumer-level digital transfers.
• TDIF-1 I/O: 25-pin D-Sub port connects directly to the DA-88, DA-38, DA78HR recorder via Tascam’s proprietary digital interface.
• Word Sync Out: TTL-level BNC output (75 Ω) provides word clock sync to slave the DA-88, 38, 78HR.
• The unit is in perfect aesthetic and working condition and it comes with its original package!

Please have in mind that it is an EU 230V compliant device. If you intend to use it in a 110/120V network you’ll need a step-up transformer.
