Offered for sale is a beautiful 1971 Greco Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, made in Japan. A rare and increasingly hard-to-find instrument, especially in a left-handed configuration.
In 2025, the guitar received a complete refret with brand-new Jumbo Medium frets, professionally installed by Ruhrpott Guitars. The result is an absolutely fantastic playing experience.
The guitar is currently equipped with a pair of original Gibson Standard Humbuckers, taken from a 1991 Gibson Les Paul Custom. The original Greco embossed humbuckers are also included in the sale.
The original tuners have been replaced with higher-quality upgraded tuning machines.
Overall, the guitar is in good condition. Considering its 56 years of age, it has naturally picked up a few minor dings and signs of wear, which add to its vintage character.
The original Greco hard case is included.
A fantastic vintage Japanese Les Paul Custom with great playability, classic looks and some desirable upgrades.
Left-handed examples are extremely rare, making this a particularly hard-to-find instrument.
