Universal Audio Apollo Twin DUO in great condition, thoroughly tested and fully functional. Comes with necessary Thunderbolt 2 cable and adapter to Thunderbolt 3.

Characteristics

The Universal Audio Apollo Twin MkII DUO is a premium desktop audio interface combining high-quality A/D and D/A conversion with two Unison-enabled microphone preamps and onboard UAD-2 DUO DSP processing. Its Thunderbolt 2 connection enables low-latency recording and monitoring with UAD plug-ins in real time. Features include two combo mic/line inputs, a front-panel Hi-Z instrument input, balanced monitor and additional line outputs, a headphone output, and an optical input supporting ADAT or S/PDIF. Supporting sample rates up to 192 kHz at 24-bit resolution, it is an excellent choice for professional recording, mixing, and music production.

Functionality
All functions have been thoroughly tested and are working as intended, including all microphone and line inputs, phantom power, the front-panel Hi-Z input, monitor, headphone and line outputs, optical ADAT signal transfer, talkback, Thunderbolt connectivity, and UAD Console communication, routing, and DSP processing with UAD plug-ins. Audio recording and playback have also been verified.
Audio samples are available upon request, and photos of the unit in operation are included in the listing.

Connectivity

This is the Thunderbolt 2 version of the Apollo Twin.

The sale includes:

- Thunderbolt 2 cable

- New Thunderbolt 2 → Thunderbolt 3 adapter

The Thunderbolt cable and adapter have been successfully used with the Apollo.

This makes the unit ready to connect to a compatible modern Thunderbolt-equipped computer without having to source the older Thunderbolt accessories separately.

If the buyer already has the necessary Thunderbolt cables/adapters and does not need them, they can be excluded from the sale and the price can be adjusted accordingly.

Power supply

The Apollo comes with a compatible power supply, which has been used with the unit and works correctly.

Condition

The unit is used and shows normal signs of previous use. Please see the detailed photos for the cosmetic condition from all sides and close-up.

Overall, great option for anyone looking for the classic Apollo Twin Thunderbolt workflow with Unison preamps, UAD DSP processing, Console monitoring/routing and ADAT expansion.
