Tascam 464 in very good cosmetically condition and fully serviced.

This is considered to be one of the best 4-track cassette-recorders out there in terms of sound-quality, interesting features and ease of use, the poor man's 246 but more of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

This unit came in as a parts-machine due to rust on the mechanism and power supply (check before and after pictures). I then took the challenge to get it working again, treated the rusted parts one by one, reflow the soldering points that needed redoing due to oxidation and deep clean all pots and faders. Incredibly enough, the unit works perfectly now after many hours spent on it and what started as a personal project, which I thought I would keep for myself, came out so well I can sell it with confidence it will last for a very long time.

- Replacements of all knobs with black ones (644/688-type), half of the originals were in very bad condition.

- Rec/playback level check/adjustment
