About This Model
The Radial USB-Pro is a high-resolution stereo direct box and audio converter designed to feed a digital audio source - such as a laptop or tablet - directly into a professional PA or mixing console. It connects via a single USB Type-B cable, which also provides bus power, so no external adapter is needed. Audio is converted at up to 24-bit/96kHz (with auto-sensing for 44.1kHz and 48kHz), and the two balanced XLR outputs deliver a clean, low-impedance signal to the desk. Switchable isolation transformers allow ground loops to be eliminated at the source, while a mono sum switch aids signal checking and distribution. A built-in headphone amplifier on the 3.5mm jack lets the operator monitor the output before it hits the system. The unit requires no drivers and is plug-and-play compatible with Mac OS and Windows. The chassis is built from 14-gauge steel.
