Overview

The 6120 Chet Atkins Hollow Body debuted in 1954. Unique features to the introduction model included a longhorn steer headstock inlay, gold fixed-arm Bigsby vibrato, and celluloid block fretboard inlays with engraved cows and cactus. In mid 1956, the 6120 model had a horseshoe headstock inlay, unengraved block fretboard inlays, and an aluminum swing-arm Bigsby.
