About this listing
A Fender USA American Standard Telecaster manufactured in the mid-1990s. Featuring a Vintage White finish paired with a maple fingerboard, this guitar embodies the classic Telecaster style. In addition to the well-balanced tone produced by its alder body and maple neck, it features single-coil pickups exclusive to the American Standard series. With crisp highs and a full-bodied mid-to-low range characteristic of the Telecaster, this highly versatile model is suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from rhythm to lead. It also features specifications unique to the American Standard series?such as a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard, medium-jumbo frets, and a 6-saddle bridge?which blend vintage styling with modern playability. This guitar exemplifies the high level of craftsmanship typical of 1990s USA-made Fender instruments. Peeling paint was observed on the 6th string side between the 19th and 20th frets, so the area has been repaired with adhesive. There is a slight bulge on the fingerboard surface around the repair area, and the position marks have faded. The set screws on the 2nd and 6th string saddles, which had become seized due to deterioration, have been replaced. The saddles have been replaced with lock pins, and the strap-side parts are missing. There is a distinctive odor from long-term storage, likely caused by the included case. There are several small and large chips in the clear finish on the edge of the fingerboard near the 1st string. There are no snags that would interfere with playing. There are sticker marks on the back of the body. Overall, there are many fine scratches; while there are few large, conspicuous scratches on the body, it shows signs of wear appropriate for its age. There are no noticeable abnormalities on the neck, and it is in good playing condition. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
