Vintage ProShop Set-Up includes:
• Fret-level, crown and polish.
• Fingerboard dress and comfort treatment.
• Truss rod adjustment and set.
• Action height, radius, intonation and pickup height adjustment.
• Nut slot regulation.
LV6PU0001 Features:
Body:
American alder body provides resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort, enhanced with correctly radiused contoured body.
Vibrato:
The Wilkinson WV6 vibrato bridge.
Pickups:
Balanced set of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, fitted to a shielded pickguard, with staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces, for authentic tone and contemporary power.
Reverse wound, reverse polarity centre pickup provides hum-cancelling in switch position 2 and 4.
Controls:
Master Volume control, reversed position tone controls for neck pickup and middle pickup, with bridge pickup wired traditionally , no tone control.
The neck tone control features the Bukka™ control, on a push/push switch pot, which engages a dummy out of phase coil, serially mixed with regular pickup signal, reducing noise, producing a smoother and more stable tone, particularly in hi-gain sounds, where it can function also as a filter, enhancing the range of tones available.
Machine heads:
Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok tuners.
Simple, effective locking action for increased tuning stability.
Staggered string post heights provide correct string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.
Neck:
Hard rock Maple with classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile for instant comfort, speed, accuracy and great feel.
Fingerboard:
7.5" radius Rosewood fingerboard provides positive feel and superior playability.
Frets:
21 Medium profile frets increase comfort, accuracy and overall positive feel of the Vintage V6.
Scale Length:
25.5" / 648mm.
Nut:
43mm GraphTech® nut, facilitates smooth string bending and friction-free vibrato use.
Headstock:
Classic Vintage headstock design for balance and visual appeal.
