I’m selling my May 1983 Fender Precision Elite II bass, in very well-preserved condition and with all original parts. Those of you familiar with these basses already know about the wide range of tonal options they offer. In addition, the micro-adjust bridge and the ultra-light tuners made by Schaller are a great feature.
However, the main difference that makes this bass unique lies in the following upgrades:
- Conversion of the neck width from the stock 45 mm to a 39.79 mm nut width, typical of Jazz Bass models.
- Conversion of the fingerboard radius from 7.25" to 10", making it much more comfortable to play.
The neck modification only affects the fingerboard and, consequently, the frets have been replaced with new ones, but it does not alter the overall C-shaped neck profile, which makes it a very comfortable bass to play.
All these modifications were carried out by a specialized luthier.
It includes an original Fender hard case in Tweed Deluxe finish.
Shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer. Located in Barcelona. Ships throughout Europe.
