"The Farfisa Syntorchestra is a combination of two preset synthesizers in one. A polyphonic section and a monophonic section. Both sections have presets that can be changed in real time but there is no user memory. The Syntorchestra produces unique sounds unlike most synths. Its sound has been compared to the ARP Pro Soloist and Moog Satellite. Sounds are selected with selection tabs under the keyboard section. Control is limited for the two synthesizers with sliders and buttons to the left of the keyboard section. There's an envelope with attack and decay, as well as filter controls using the "Brilliance" sliders. There is also a Vibrato effect with a delay button that can delay the Vibrato effect as the sound develops. The central section below the keyboard has a unique Portamento control which can be constant or temporary with the press of a lever. On the far left of the keyboard are selection tabs labeled "Cancel" for muting the Vibrato effect. There is filter control by activating the tab labeled "Wha-Wha" and using a combination of the attack slider, decay switch and decay slider it creates the familiar analog synth filter effect."
