Great vintage Peavey Decade 10W solid-state guitar amplifier, made in the USA.

This example is in very good overall condition. It shows some (light) cosmetic wear, but it has overall been very well preserved for a vintage amplifier of this age. Please see photos for a good impression of the cosmetic state.

The combo amplifier has been tested and is fully functional.

The Peavey Decade has developed a strong track record in recent years, largely thanks to its association with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Homme has famously referred to the Decade as one of his “secret weapon” amps. This sturdy little amp's distinctive mid-focused and harmonically rich sound became part of the unique QOTSA guitar sound.

Despite its compact size, the Decade has a surprisingly characterful sound. The dedicated Saturation input provides extra gain and a gritty, harmonically rich overdrive, while the Pre and Post Gain controls and three-band EQ offer plenty of tonal flexibility.
