Here we have a truly rare and highly sought-after Squier Telecaster. At first glance, the elegant combination of Oxblood finish, gold hardware and double binding immediately stands out. A Tele with plenty of vintage character and a touch of luxury.

This model was produced as an FSR (Factory Special Run) and was only available in limited numbers. It became particularly well known through a YouTube video by one of the major US guitar retailers, where it received an exceptionally positive review. Shortly afterwards, it was practically sold out everywhere.

Here is the original description from Squier:

“A nod to the double-bound Tele® models of the 1960s, the Classic Vibe '60s Custom Telecaster creates incredible tone courtesy of the Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups. Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable "C"-shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5"-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style Telecaster bridge with barrel saddles and string-through-body design. This throwback Squier model also features 1960s-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.”

This guitar is in excellent condition and shows only a few signs of use.

Unfortunately, the factory fretwork was not convincing. The frets showed no wear, but they had not been leveled sufficiently. We therefore carefully leveled, recrowned and polished them and then gave the guitar a complete setup. It now plays exceptionally smoothly and exactly the way you would expect from a high-quality Tele.

An exceptionally beautiful Telecaster with genuine rarity value and definite collector potential – but above all, a fantastic guitar to play.
