The Yamaha Red Label FGX5 pays homage to the iconic Nippon Gakki Red Label acoustic guitars from the 1960s. However, it has been modernized to cater to the needs of contemporary guitarists. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top paired with a solid mahogany body, this instrument delivers exceptional resonance and tonal quality, further improved by Yamaha’s A.R.E. wood torrefaction technique. The newly designed scalloped bracing contributes to a more powerful and balanced sound. Additionally, the inclusion of a bone nut and saddle enhances the guitar's tonal clarity, resulting in a vibrant and articulate voice. The instrument also offers outstanding plugged-in sound quality, thanks to the Atmosfeel electronics. A traditional V-shaped headstock and an attractive semi-gloss finish round out the features of the Red Label FGX5.
