The Venture V7 sits at the center of the Venture lineup, delivering the ideal balance of professional stage power, portability, and modern Ampeg workflow. Compact enough for easy transport yet powerful enough for demanding live performance environments, the V7 represents a modern solution for bass players who want serious touring capability without oversized traditional rigs.
At the core of the V7 is Ampeg’s Legacy Preamp all-analog front end, designed to retain the warmth, articulation, and dynamic response that define classic Ampeg bass tone. Combined with a flexible 3-band EQ and sweepable mid-frequency control, the V7 offers precise tonal shaping while remaining musical and highly responsive under real playing conditions.
The integrated SGT™ overdrive circuit adds additional tonal flexibility with dedicated SVT and B15 voicing modes. From aggressive modern grind to warmer vintage-inspired tube textures, the Venture V7 delivers unmistakable Ampeg character while remaining clear and controlled at high stage volumes.
Modern bass workflows are fully integrated into the platform. Features like the onboard variable compressor, effects loop with wet/dry mix control, XLR direct output, dual Neutrik speakON outputs, headphone output, and aux input make the Venture V7 equally comfortable on stage, in the studio, or during silent practice sessions.
Weighing only approximately 6.12 pounds, the Venture V7 delivers premium professional Ampeg performance in a format designed for modern touring musicians and highly portable bass rigs.
