Vintage Harmony H75 – Red Finish – Project / Player Grade – Serial No. 1333
The guitar is finished in red, which I believe is possibly a refinish, although I cannot confirm this with certainty.
The instrument has undergone several modifications over its lifetime:
* The middle of the three original pickups is missing.
* In its place, a cover from a Hohner Band harmonica has been installed as a cosmetic filler.
* The original control knobs associated with the missing pickup are no longer present.
* Some of the potentiometer shaft threads are partially broken, although the controls for the remaining electronics are still usable.
* The neck and bridge pickups both are DeArmond gold foil pickups and work perfectly, and their electronics function as they should.
* The tailpiece is not original.
* The tuners are replacements and are not original.
Structurally, the guitar is in good vintage condition. It has no major cracks, breaks, or visible structural repairs. It shows the expected cosmetic wear for an instrument of its age but remains a solid candidate for a player, restoration project, or collector looking for an affordable H75.
Please examine all photos carefully, as they form part of the description. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like additional pictures.
The guitar comes with a non original gig bag and will be packed carefully and shipped fully insured.
