Here I am selling my french Daniel Moinel 4/4 professional violin.

I have used this violin in professional environments, both in soloist and in orchestra settings around the UK.

- Aesthetics and info:

To describe it, it is a beautifully crafted French violin with a beautiful golden one piece back which changes its tigery colours depending on the light angles.

The violin is a full 4/4 instrument with a flatter body.

Its shape is incredibly comfortable to play, proving to be great for long sessions of playing (concerts or long orchestra sessions), something that I found essential compared to my other violin, which is on the bigger side and curvier.

Sound:

The sound is what I find the most important part of this violin.

It is a warm yet silvery tone, piercing and big, it allows the player to really produce the colours wanted, without being limited.

With my string combination, I was able to achieve a beautiful buttery tone in the lower register, yet a beautiful singing-like tone from 7th position on.

I am able to play octaves and thirds better here than on my more expensive violin.

It is essential to say about the ease of play of this violin.

Playing fast passages or achieve loud/softer sound is incredibly easy, I am not sure why, yet this violin proves to be a reliable and efficient companion for a violinist who needs a violin that sings the notes needed.

I have bought it in UK by a very renowned shop many years ago and has served me beautifully, proving to be a very good companion alongside my Austrian handmade violin.

It was professionally inspected by a renowned Luthier in Edinburgh.
