Goodall guitars are characterized by their beautiful sound, which is exceptionally versatile. Furthermore, the craftsmanship is also evident in the impeccable finish. James Goodall is a master builder from California. His craftsmanship is of the highest caliber, and his instruments are works of art. For this Grand Concert, Goodall Guitars has pulled out all the stops when it comes to materials.

With a body made of Indian rosewood and a top made of Engelmann spruce of absolute top quality, this guitar is an absolute eye-catcher. For the top of this absolute top-tier guitar, Goodall selected the lightest possible piece of wood in terms of weight to achieve optimal resonance.

In terms of size, the Goodall Grand Concert falls between the Parlor and the Concert Jumbo. Thanks to its dynamic response, the guitar is ideally suited for fingerstyle playing and possesses clarity, sustain, and powerful projection. However, the guitar also distinguishes itself excellently in other playing styles thanks to its beautiful sound.

The other features of this guitar are certainly worth mentioning as well. In terms of decoration, the guitar features flamed maple binding and a beautiful abalone rosette. The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard and a scale length of 25.5 inches, and is in turn decorated with abalone fingerboard inlays and an ebony headstock. Finally, the LR Baggs Anthem pickup system ensures high-quality amplification of this Goodall's beautiful sound.

The guitar dates from 2004 and is in excellent condition. There are light playing marks and a few small dings on the top and the back of the body, along with very light marks on the side of the body. The glossy finish on the back of the neck shows that the guitar has been played, but it has certainly been well maintained!
