With the Vintera III Mid ’60s Telecaster, Fender brings back the character of a Telecaster from the mid-1960s. The model is based on its historical predecessors in both construction and features, and is aimed at guitarists who value an authentic vintage feel. The alder body is combined with a maple neck featuring the classic mid-’60s C-profile, whilst the 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and vintage tall frets recreate the playing feel of historic Fender instruments. In terms of tone, two mid-’60s single-coil pickups define the typical brilliant Telecaster sound with clear attack and unique twang. The instrument is complemented by a 3-saddle vintage-style Tele bridge with three threaded steel saddles, vintage-style tuning machines and numerous historically accurate details that round off the authentic overall impression.
