A beautiful, handcrafted custom snare drum from SSS Solid Shell Shop with a wood finish. The 14x5.5" shell was crafted from a solid block of reclaimed wood, some of which dates back to the 19th century. The shell is 10mm thick and features a clear lacquer finish, a 45° bearing edge, and is finished with black one-point lugs, an air vent, a butt end, and a strainer. The snare wires are also fitted, making this a truly unique snare drum.
All hardware, including the shell, is new and unused. The snare drum comes with Remo Encore heads that were only used to test the shell.
Expect a deep, rich, punchy bass-mid sound with natural sustain and warmth.
