Secondly, the Double Trouble model features an exclusive vintage version of the Les Paul standard high-gloss finish in Vintage Bourbon Burst Gloss. In addition to these features, the electric guitar comes with the usual high level of workmanship and comfortable playability of the Gibson USA series, making the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble a high-quality all-rounder for genres ranging from Blues to rock and everything in between.

Under the hood, the body is crafted from mahogany, while the AA-grade maple top is finished with the beautiful Vintage Bourbon Burst high-gloss nitro finish. The cream body binding extends beyond the mahogany neck and connects it to the high-quality rosewood fingerboard. The 50s vintage neck profile provides a truly vintage feel, while the 24.75" scale and classic single-cut design ensure fast handling with a short path to the highest positions. In addition, the combination of the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and the aluminum stopbar ensures robust string action and intonation. The Vintage Deluxe Keystone tuners also keep the instrument reliably in tune.

The highlight of the Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble are the white humbuckers without pickup covers - the white double coilers are not only characterized by a beautiful look, but also convey a great vintage sound with classic PAF character. In detail, the Burstbucker 1 in the neck position delivers a creamy sound, while the Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position produces a rich punch with powerful mids and plenty of low-end in the sound. The sound is therefore ideal for crystal-clear clean and saturated drive sounds, allowing bluesy licks or demanding leads to be extracted precisely from the instrument with every tonal nuance.
