There are not many new guitars that are already "legendary" but this run is for sure one of them. Gibsons recreation of Bernie Marsdens 1959 Les Paul "The Beast" is known to be over the top. Look, feel and tone wise they are exceptionally good instruments. We've seen and played the original guitar during one of late friend Bernie's visits in our shop and can assure: they're awesome! This guitar has a special bonus: the former owner had a German luthier put a wonderful dark Brazilian Rosewood fretboard on the guitar (of course incl. paperwork)! Great benefit - this guitar looks stunning and sounds extremely well. The weight is 4220g - more lightweight than the original which is quite heavy!
