With just one channel and the integrated tremolo and reverb effect, the O Tone 40 speaks a clear vintage language, but provides modern features to expand its sound for all genres. On the one hand, the buffered effects loop enables the integration of external effects, allowing the versatile sound palette to be expanded via various floor pedals, while the integrated tremolo effect can be controlled via a separate footswitch connection. On the other hand, the line out output allows the signal to be picked up directly - a separate headphone connection also allows silent practice sessions.
