The Gretsch Professional Collection Falcon Hollow Body Bigsby Cerulean Smoke represents the legendary Falcon design within the Professional Collection and impresses with its expressive sounds and stunning look. The flagship among the semi-resonant models from Gretsch forms the transition between Vintage and modernity and presents itself as an enormously versatile instrument that is easily available for a wide range of different sounds and genres. Furthermore, Gretsch provides the Professional Collection Falcon Hollow Body with a matching Deluxe hardshell case.

Following the recipe of the classic Falcon, all components of the body in the form of the top, sides and back are made of laminated maple. The 17" construction in combination with the two F-holes and the innovative Arc-Tone bracing ensures a particularly resonant construction that adds an incomparable acoustic note to the basic sound of the Professional Collection Falcon Hollow Body. The body is finished off with an elegant Cerulean Smoke high-gloss finish and all-round bindings in the Gold Sparkle look.

As an authentic replica of the traditional Filter'Trons used in the early Gretsch hollow-body instruments, the two Gretsch PRO-FT Filter'Trons in the neck and bridge position provide unmistakable vintage sounds. The two dual coilers effectively suppress ambient noise and are easily available for clear and dynamic cleans and expressive leads as well as for high-resolution Chords and higher gain settings. The circuit elements also remain classic and consist of a common master Volume as well as two separate volume controls and a global treble control.

The traditional Bigsby B6CP vibrato system is naturally an absolute highlight. The 'String-Thru' version of the Bigsby vibrato guides the strings through the winding axis, in contrast to classic designs, to both increase the efficiency of the vibrato and to simplify string changes immensely. The Gretsch Professional Collection Falcon Hollow Body Bigsby is completed by six Grover Imperial tuners with locking function and the typical Plexi pickguard with the eponymous Falcon graphic.
