Inspired by Eddie Van Halen's iconic star-shaped Charvel Star electric guitar, the EVH Star Limited Edition T.O.M. EB Stealth Black offers a unique playing experience with modern components. The unusual guitar consists of a body made of basswood and a neck made of quarter-sawn maple, which is connected to the body by a classic bolt-on joint. The ebony fingerboard with a compound radius ranging from 12 to 16 inches, on the other hand, enables nimble movements of the fretting hand over 22 jumbo frets. A single EVH Wolfgang humbucker in the bridge position is responsible for the sound conversion on the amplifier, which impresses with its resonant and powerful tone and is ideally suited for classic rock sounds and singing leads. A volume control with treble bleed circuit prevents unwanted treble loss at low volume settings. Last but not least, the Star electric guitar also features a kill switch and hardware equipment in the form of a resonant tune-o-matic/stopbar combination.
