INVADERS 850 DEVIL 50W

I am reluctantly selling this Invaders 850 Devil 50-watt tube amplifier head.

I have owned quite a few amplifiers over the years, and this is by far the best one I have ever had.

Hand-built in Belgium in May 2019, this all-tube 50W head is powered by two 6L6 tubes. It features two channels: a Normal channel ranging from clean to crunch, and a Drive channel with plenty of gain on tap.

Even at high-gain settings, the sound remains extremely dynamic, articulate and organic. The EQ is very effective, while the different voicing modes make it possible to significantly shape the overall character of the amplifier.

The amplifier has been serviced twice directly by Invaders Amplification. It was also upgraded by the manufacturer with their upgrade kit and works perfectly.

Cosmetically, it only has a small tear in the tolex on one side, clearly shown in the photos. This has absolutely no effect on its operation.

It comes with the original Invaders footswitch and cable, as well as its original protective cover.

An unusual detail that gives it some collector interest: this is the very first production 850 Devil ever sold, bearing serial number 002. Serial number 001 was the original prototype. This information was confirmed to me directly by the founder of Invaders Amplification.
