1970s MEINEL 7-COURSE RENAISSANCE LUTE
A beautifully crafted 7-course Renaissance lute by master luthier Ammon Johannes Meinel (brand mark “AM”). This small alto lute is tuned to A and comes ready to play in its original custom-made case.

The body consists of 28 grooved(!), beautifully flamed maple veneers. The pegbox features a recessed chanterelle and ebony pegs.

Tuning: GG AA dd gg bb e´e´ a´
Minimal signs of wear and age. Hamburg lute maker Kai Schupp expertly replaced the strings and gut frets.
