"The MKH 815 is a condenser microphone with excellent directional properties; it is the successor to

the well-known MKH 805. Even at a large distance the microphone can be used without any loss of

sound quality. A very smooth directional frequency response is being achieved through a special com

bination of the interference principle and the pressure gradient principle. To be used in television and film

studios whenever the microphone has to be out of the camera range. In spite of its unusual length the
