The Tama STDC7 Sizzle Drop Clutch is a high quality drop clutch for double bass drummers with quick set function. When the drummer pushes the lever of the clutch, the hihat does not close completely, but only at a pre-set distance, creating the popular sizzle effect of a half open hihat. If you want the hihat cymbals to lie completely on top of each other, just push the pedal of the hihat stand.
