The small 00 body size is one of the most beloved vintage formats and offers an immediate response, impressive dynamics and a beautifully open and woody tone.After almost 80 years this guitar naturally shows visible signs of its long life, but sonically it is absolutely outstanding. The sound is dry, warm, resonant and incredibly responsive with exactly the mature vintage character that only old Martins from this era can deliver. A truly inspiring vintage Martin with exceptional playability and tone.This guitar is officially registered with Hutton’s Registry. The included certificate issued by vintage Martin expert Doug Hutton confirms numerous original details and documents the guitar within the 1947 production batches, making it a very interesting addition for collectors and vintage enthusiasts.Condition:Overall completely original condition. Two top cracks, one side crack near the strap button and one back crack have been professionally repaired and are stable. The original Brazilian Rosewood bridge has been reglued.
