This model remains true to the original design concept but offers numerous improvements over its predecessor. One significant innovation is the use of a more advanced chip that allows for increased processing capacity. This results in more complex effects and oscillators for the user. Another highlight is the replacement of the ribbon controller with a keyboard, which enables more precise playing and improved sequencing. The connection options and MIDI CC implementation have also been expanded. Another notable feature is the new autosave function. Overall, the Korg NTS-1 MKII is an impressive upgrade of its predecessor and sets new standards in its field.
