The Gretsch White Falcon G6136-55GE is a commanding and refined hollowbody whose luxurious appearance is inseparable from its distinctive musical personality. Its large 17” Falcon body is finished in gloss Vintage White nitrocellulose lacquer and combines a solid spruce top with laminated maple back and sides. This construction produces a wide, lively response with deep lows, open midrange and an elegant high-end clarity that immediately recalls the character of a great American archtop. The maple neck features a traditional Standard “U” profile, offering a substantial yet comfortable feel. Its ebony fingerboard has a 12” radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets, providing a smooth, precise playing surface for both chords and lead work. A 43.7 mm bone nut contributes to the guitar’s clear attack and natural resonance. A pair of TV Jones T-Armond single-coil pickups gives this White Falcon an exceptionally expressive voice. They retain the speed, sparkle and articulation of a traditional single coil while adding impressive body, depth and dynamic range. The neck pickup sounds warm and three-dimensional, while the bridge position delivers clarity, bite and a beautifully focused attack. Separate pickup volumes, a master tone control and a three-way selector make it easy to shape sounds ranging from sophisticated cleans to rockabilly, country, blues and powerful classic-rock tones. The Synchro-Sonic bridge with Cadillac “G” tailpiece, Grover Imperial tuners and gold hardware complete the guitar’s unmistakably luxurious presentation. More than a visually spectacular instrument, this used White Falcon is highly responsive, musical and full of personality. It weighs 3.500 kg and comes with its Deluxe hardshell case.
